Coffee County Scout Camp [AFC]

DeKalb County Scout Camp [GAC]
The main attractions for Camp Comer are the cool summer temperature, beautiful Lake Republic, rocks, and a mountain atmosphere. Camp Comer has outstanding programming and facilities and provides Scouts with five merit badge periods every day.
Auguaga County Cub Camp [TAC]
Camp Dexter C. Hobbs is on the site of the old Scout Camp Tukabatchee (1950-1999). From 1999 to 2005 the old camp was transformed into our Cub Scout and family camp. A large pavillion and several sleeping cabins are some of the features of camp. Camp Hobbs is home to the annual Webelos resident camp each summer.

East Tuscaloosa County Scout Camp [BWC]
The main Council camp for Black Warrior Council and is available for use year-round by all Scout units, Features two big lakes, shooting sports, climbing tower and more. Three weeks of Boy Scout residence camp in June, and that is followed by two sessions of Cub Scout residence camp.
Camp Jack Wright
SW Jefferson Co [GAC]
Camp Jack Wright features traditional scout camping and is located in the Roupes Valley, adjacent to Tannehill Ironworks Historical State Park. A beautiful nature area with great hiking trails, plentiful wildlife, professional orienteering course, horseback trailrides. Civil War museum and pioneer farm is located next door. Lots to do for both older and younger boy scouts. It is located on the border between Tuscaloosa and Jefferson Counties,
BSA Primitive Camp - Jackson Co [GAC]
Now open on a limited basis to smaller size youth groups. Facilities will be primitive. There are construction and logging operation ongoing at the camp so there are still areas of the camp that are closed. You will be directed to areas where camping is allowed. Located in Jackson County in Northern Alabama.

Maubila Scout Reservation
BSA Summer Camp - Jackson Co [MAC]
Maubila Scout Reservation located near Jackson, Alabama is the council's centerpiece for camping, water sports, and high adventure. Camp Maubila is located about 1 hour 40 minutes from downtown Mobile and encompasses over 686 acres. The property includes a lake for water sports, a swimming pool, one large dinning hall, campsites and facilities for archery, marksmanship and nature study. It also includes a state of the art conference and training facility for weekend conferences.
BSA Primitive Camp - Walker Co [BWC]
Camp O'Rear is a 90-acre Scout camp located in Jasper. It is owned and operated by the Black Warrior Council as a primitive-style facility. Camp O'Rear is a beautiful facility and is one of the most diverse areas in terms of Alabama's wildlife and flora. This camp sits close to the Black Water Creek with a swinging bridge and plenty of areas for hiking, camping, and exploring.
BSA Weekend Camp - Mobile Bay [MAC]
Boy Scout Camp Pinetreat located near Bay Minette, Alabama is the council's premiere week-end camping, Cub Scout event and Training facility. Camp Pinetreat is located just 40 minutes north of downtown Mobile at exit 37 off of I-65 and encompasses 162 acres. The property includes a climbing wall, a swimming pool, a lake for boating, a large air conditioned dinning hall, campsites, lodges, and much more.
BSA Summer Camp - Delta Co [GAC]
This Boy Scout Summer Camp located in east central Alabama is highly prized for its centerpiece 80-acre Lake Cross. Get wild with great aquatics activities like boating, kayaking, canoeing, swimming and the high-speed waterslide. Part of the Frank Spain Scout Reservation. Located adjacent to Cheaha Mountain - Highwest Point in Alabama and the Taladegga National Forest.
Summer Camp - 2000 New Facility [TAC]
Newly opened in Summer 2000 with modern facilities, hot water, equestrian center, shootingsports, and a complete Cope Course featuring 18 stations. 50-acre Crane Lake with two beaches (one for swimming and one for boating) is popular for both sailing and kayaking. Taylor Dawson Environmental Trail is par of a large 5-mile hiking trail surrounding the camp that includes several interpretive areas.
Scout Retreat - Lauderdale Co [GAC]
This historic Boy Scout summer camp located in Lauderdale County, Camp Westmoreland, is one of the oldest operating camps in the Southeastern United States; it first opened in the 1920s. Camp Westmoreland ceased operations as a summer camp in the 1980s, but it is still widely used to this day for both council and district activities.
White Bluff Scout Reservation
BSA Primitive Camp - Marengo Co [BWC]
Located near the confluence of the Tombigbee and Black Warrior Rivers, White Bluff is found just off of Highway No. 43 north of Demopolis. White Bluff is the second primitive scout camp for the Black Warrior Council and is available for use most of the year by all Scout units. The facilities include a large pavilion and boat landing.
NOTE: Most youth camps are available year around to all youth groups and family activities regardless of affiliation. In fact many want your business to support their core operations.

This facility features resources for a great number of Boy Scout Merit Badge outdoor activity programs and high adventure campouts. A quality merit badge program is important for building character and valuable life skills.
Off-Season Availability: - Families, scout troops and other youth groups may inquire about openings to camp during the off-season and use these facilities.

Snoopy's Super Troop
No Scout should miss out on the fun and excitement of summer camp because he can’t participate with his own troop. Ask your local council about the Summer Camp Provisional Troop. It is also available for scouts who want to attend an additional week an opportunity to not miss out on the fun.
This unique program groups Scouts from many different troops into a single patrol, thus offering them a similar experience as Scouts who attend summer camp with their traditional troop.
The camp provides residential and day camp educational programs for children in various age groups and adults. These programs include space oriented camp programs, aircraft themed Aviation Challenge camps, and outdoor oriented X-Camp programs, with the intent to promote science, engineering, aviation and exploration. Space Camp additionally uses rides or attractions that are on site at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center as instructional tools.
