One of NASCAR's fastest racetracks is located in Talladega Alabama. Each race takes place on a Sunday with supporting races and motorsports festival running the full weekend.
Talladega Superspeedway is a motorsports complex located north of Talladega, Alabama, United States. It is located on the former Anniston Air Force Base just outside the small city of Lincoln.
The Track is a Tri-oval and is most known for its steep banking and the unique location of the start/finish line - which is closer to turn one than at Daytona. The track currently hosts the NASCAR series such as the Sprint Cup Series, Nationwide Series, and the Camping World Truck Series. Talladega Superspeedway is the longest NASCAR oval with a length of 2.66 miles, and the track also has a seating capacity of 175,000 spectators.
Nearly two years in the making, the 2013 Generation-6 Sprint Cup cars more closely resemble those found on the showroom floor, with eye-catching bodylines and stylish features giving each model its distinctive appearance.
Talladega Event Camping
A number of camping venues are available at the racetrack for events big and small. Note that some areas can be quite noisy with no quiet time rules.
Dale Jarret Racing School
They offer a variety of packages from a 3-lap Ride to an 80-lap Drive. Any size package will be amazing, but your speed may differ depending on the the number of laps you choose. The more laps you race, the more comfortable you will become with your racecar and the faster you're able to go, so your last lap is typically your fastest.

Sports Museum dedicated to enshrining those who have contributed the most to the sport of auto racing either as a driver, owner, developer or engineer. Although people of many nationalities have been inducted (including racing legends such as Fangio, Moss, Senna) the majority of inductees chosen are American drivers who competed in domestic series (particularly NASCAR).

Talladega Walk of Fame
The Davey Allison Memorial-Walk of Fame is a beautiful landscaped park that covers one full city block down town Talladega, Alabama. Dedicated during the summer of 1994, the memorial is open 365 days a year with free admission. The park is located just off the historic Talladega Courthouse Square in beautiful downtown Talladega.

Cheaha State Park
Highest Point in Alabama

Talladega National Forest
Wilderness Camping & Trails
Covering much of the southern edge of the Appalachian Mountain, this forest has one of the most beautiful woodland areas in Alabama with many scenic vistas and trails. It is most noteworthy for is Fall Color Change in mid-Oct to mid-Nov and Spring Flower Bloom in March & April and many wild game species.
