Tour Lake Mohave Lake Mohave, located below Hoover Dam, is also an excellent Fishing destination. Plentiful bass, catfish and bluegill are found in both Lake Mead and Mohave. Largest man made lake in the US (247 sq mi) imbounded by the Hoover Dam (completed 1936) on the Colorado River and covering parts of Nevada and Arizona. Chief feature of the Lake Mead National Recreation Area this lake has 550 miles of shoreline and is upto 589 ft deep.

• Echo Bay - also just south of Overton

• Alan Bible Visitors Center - 4 miles east of Boulder City at US 93 and Lakeshore Road.

Try something really different. Run is on old railroad track long since removed and now part of the Rail-to-Trails Conservancy and the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. We run right above Lake Mead for entire event where the runner passes through six (6) tunnels on this course in each direction.
