    Halifax (pop: 372,760) is the largest city in Canada, east of Quebec. It is also the capital of Nova Scotia Province.

    York Redoubt National Historic Site
    Situated on a bluff overlooking the entrance to Halifax Harbour at Ferguson's Cove is this historic fortress. Originally buit in 1793 as a key element in the defence of Halifax Harbour in the 19th and 20th centuries.
