Buena Park has been well known as the home of the boysenberry which was created when Walter Knott and Rudolph Boysen grafted together the blackberry, red raspberry and loganberry. Their little roadside stand started selling the boysenberry preserves and gradually evolved into the Knott's Berry Farm theme park.

Just a few gangplanks away from Orange County's famous Caribbean pirates, a new breed of pirate is about to set sail in Southern California. Guests enjoy the Port of Call Feast while watching swashbucklers, led by Captain Sebastian the Black, perform at the King's Festival. Cheer on your favorite pirate mascot as the story plays out with swordplay and acrobatics on a four-story Spanish galleon anchored in a 250,000 gallon lagoon. Upto 150 guests have a chance to play an actual role in each show, donning period costumes and all.
