Rose Tournament Equestfest [Dec 29-31]
Pasadena's very famous New Years Day celebration has been running every year since 1889
and today it attracts over 5 million attendance plus a huge television telecast in multiple languages.
The parade feature over 120 units including majestic floral floats, high-stepping equestrian units and spirited marching bands.
Later the same day is the famous football challenge.

Tijuana River Refuge
Historic beach front site contains much of the Tijuana River National Estuarine Research Reserve, an important wildlife habitat.
The salt and freshwater marshes give refuge to migrating waterfowl and resident wading birds, such as black-necked stilt, avocet, teal,
American widgeon and pelican. The park offers hiking, horse trails, surf fishing and birding.
Hellhole Canyon County Preserve
1712-acre preserve with over 11 miles of hiking and equestrian trails.
Explore exquisite oak woodlands, mountain creeks or sweeping hilltop panorama views.
This wildlife habitat hosts mountain lion, coyote, rattlesnakes and various bird species.
Carlyle Linder Equestrian Park - Glendora CA
Carlyle E. Linder Equestrian Park is located on Glendora Mountain Road and Boulder Springs.
Facilities include Riding rink, riding trails, and parking area.
Pico Rivera Bicentennial Park
Sports Arena & Equstrian Center
Pico Rivera is one of the few cities which provide facilities for horse boarding stables (168 horse stalls available).
The Bicentennial Park and Equestrian Center complex is located on 60 acres of land at the north end of the City.
Adjacent to Bicentennial Park is the City´s 6,000 seat Sports Arena. Famous for its Mexican rodeos (chareadas) and Latin entertainment.
Daley Ranch - North Escondido
This historic ranch has been transformed into a 3,058-acre conservation park, owned and operated by the City of Escondido.
The property contains a number of natural vegetation communities including lush oak woodlands, coastal sage scrub and chaparral, grasslands, and riparian areas.
Daley Ranch offers over 25 miles of multipurpose trails for hiking, mountain biking, and equestrian use. Six distinct trails cover most of the property.
Los Angeles Equestrian Center
Opened in 1981, Southern California's largest Equestrian Center. Facilities include boarding stalls, training rings, restaurant/bar, banquet facilities, conference/meeting rooms,
indoor and outdoor show arenas, grass fields, riding academy, award winning trainers, livery/rental stables, retail gift, supply and tack shops.
Whittier Narrows Recreation Area
This 1400-acre park provides fishing lakes, comfort stations, picnicking areas, playgrounds, a nature center,
an equestrian facility, trails, a multipurpose athletic complex, a military museum, soccer fields, volleyball courts, and archery, skeet, pistol and trap ranges.
Griffith Park Farms
Located at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center Barn B ;
Griffith Park Farms is a full-service show and training barn that specialize in creating custom training programs for horse and rider.
Additionally, select few horses are available for lease and we offer a full-service lesson program.
Kellogg Arabian Horse Center - CalPoly Pomona
Public Horse show : 1st Sunday of month 2PM (Oct - May);
Equine research farm and stables dating back to 1929 and then donated to CalPoly Pomona Equine Sciences school and College of Agriculture.
