    Moonridge Animal Park - Big Bear Lake
    Also known as the Big Bear Zoo, this facility is combination of zoo and animal rehabilitation center that rescues injured or orphaned wildlife that is unable to survive in the wild. Over 80 animal species live at the zoo including bear, wildcats, reptiles, coyotes, porcupine, skunks, deer, bison, eagles, owls and more. This zoo is one of only two alpine zoos in the country.

    Lake Boating & Fishing Adventures

    Boating: Paddleboats, pontoon boats, sailboats and power boats can be rented from any of the marinas that spot the 23 mile lake shoreline. Private boat permits are required but can be purchased at any marina.

    Fishing: Bass, trout and catfish are some of the fish populating Big Bear Lake. Fishing licenses and supplies can be optained at any of the area marinas or sporting good stores.
