Huntington Beach Pier
The city's most famous landmark and California's longest concrete
municipal pier. Popular fishing spot - no license required. At the
far end of the pier is Ruby's cafe, a 1940's diner with the best ocean
view in town.
Pierside Pavilion
Mini-mall located just north of the pier, with movie theaters,
shops and eateries.
Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve

Location: Inland side of Pacific Coast Hwy, between Golden West and Warner Ave.;
185-acre restored coastal salt marsh (with proposed 600-acre addition
in the near future.) Bolsa Chica is the largest salt marsh in Southern
California and is home to a wide variety of plants, birds and animals.
Because of its prime location along the Pacific Flyway, it is one
of the best bird-watching locations in California, attracting
flocks of migrating birds moving between North and South America.
The popular walkbridge here allows you to observe closeup saltwater
marine life including stingrays, sea slugs, horn snails, crabs, sharks
and a lot more.

Monarch Butterfly Habitat
Location: Graham Street at Warner Ave;
Free Admission;
This Eucalyptus grove is the Winter home (Nov-Mar) for the
rare Monarch butterflys.
Surf City USA Marathon [FEB]
Formerly the Pacific Shoreline Marathon runs on Super Bowl Sunday Morning -
This exclusive oceanfront course is a classic California Dream. Run by the Huntington Beach pier and wind through the famed surfing beaches of Southern California.
Retro surf bands entertain along the way and the Finish Line Festival includes a beach side beer garden in the California sun. Finishers receive bodacious surfboard medals!
