Bryce Canyon NP
Mile Swim Challenge
50 Miler Award
Camp Beaver is primarily a Boy Scout High Adventure Outpost for older scouts. Scouts must be 13 or older to participate in treks. While the main focus is for Varsity and Venturing scout units, this facility is also open to Girls' groups, LDS Stake encampments and youth conferences.
Large Group Encampments
Are you looking for a beautiful and pristine place to go with your LDS Stake, youth conference, girls camps, or Scouting district where you provide your own merit badge counselors, programs, and food as a discount?
Beaver provides the facilities and logistics while you run your own program. Beaver has gender seperate facilities for co-ed youth groups.
LDS Stake or Church Young Mens Camps - Bring all of your scouting-age youth 11-18. You provide the merit badge counselors for the Boy Scouts, we provide the High Adventure program for youth 14-18 (they pay for the program they use), and we leave you alone to do firesides and spiritual activities in the evening.
Puffer Lake Backpacking Treks
Some of our activities, like mountain biking, lakefront activities at Puffer Lake, whitewater rafting, hiking three peaks, and climbing and rapelling, are off-property and require you to drive and/or hike to get there. Units that wish to camp on forest lands or at the ski resort instead of staying at base camp can do so. You can drive and/or backpack to each location.
