Snow Canyon State Park - St George red sandstone cliffs
Gunlock State Park - 240-acre Gunlock Reservoir - a quick getaway for fishing, watersports, boating and swimming.
Quail Creek State Park - Located on the Virgin River near Hurricane - Boating, picniking and fishing.
Red Cliffs Recreation Area - Very scenic campground near Leeds, UT (Exit 22 on I-15) - SouthWest UT.
Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park - Sand dunes made pink from the iron oxide in the nearby red sandstone. A unique geological feature for the Colorado Plateau, it stands in contrast to blue skies, juniper and pinion pines, and steep red cliffs.

Grand Staircase / Escalante National Monument
Newly established in September 1996 is 1.7 million acres of multi-colored cliffs and mesas in Southern Utah, extending from Bryce Canyon N.P. to Lake Powell. The Escalante and Paria Rivers have carved out two major canyon systems. Many red rock canyons, cliffs, rock formations, and natural bridges abound in this region.

Minersville Reservoir State Recreation Area
Year-round boating, fishing and camping make this 1130-acre park a popular getaway in southwestern Utah.

Crystal Geyser - Moab
The cold water, carbon dioxide powered Crystal Geyser mellows many hours between eruptions but is an impressive site. The exposed sandstone cliffs in the Rainbow Rocks area are especially colorful. Unless you have a long time to wait you may not witness an eruption of Crystal Geyser.

San Rafael Swell - Wilderness Area
About 900 square miles of desert, domes, steep hogback ridges, and canyons that are almost entirely within Emery County. This mostly uninhabited country is scenic and natural that the Swell has been proposed repeatedly as a national park.

Green River State Park
An oasis on the bank of the Green River where tall cottonwood trees shade well-manicured lawns. Also includes 9-hole golf course on the river banks, shaded by the cottonwood trees.

Goblin Valley State Park
Hike among intricately eroded rock formations in haunting coves and you might think that you are on Mars. Adjacent to the park, off-highway vehicle enthusiasts will find hundreds of miles of dirt roads to explore.

Sand Hollow State Park
One of the newest state parks of Utah and facilities are under construction, but visitors may still enjoy boating, off-highway vehicle riding, day-use, and primitive camping.

Dead Horse Point State Park
5,200 acres preserve with fantastic overlook of the Canyonlands. In early days a band of wild mustangs was herded here into a natural coral and inadvertantly left to die in view of the river water. Picniking, camping and hiking trails.

Lake Powell Boating Specialize in Houseboat Management and Service, Marine Repairs of all types and Propeller Repairs. Also available at Lake Powell is kayak rentals, diving and spearfishing gear.

Lake Powell Fishing
Largemouth bass, smallmouth bass and striped bass swim in the midst of a scenic fishing wonderland. Lake Powell has nearly 2,000 miles of fish-holding shoreline and provides a great fishing adventure.

Lake Powell National Golf Course
Championship 18-hole course sitting on a high mesa overlooking the impressive Glen Canyon Dam, beautiful Lake Powell, and Vermillion Cliffs, this scenic layout is a visual treat as well as a player’s delight.

Pine Valley Mountain Wilderness
There are over 151 miles of trails here. Surrounded on all sides by desert, this mountain island is home to chipmunk, marmot, red squirrel, and numerous blue grouse.

Dark Canyon Wilderness Area - Manti-La Sal NF
This Wilderness Area in Southeastern Utah is a unique and colorful canyon system. Dark Canyon begins on Elk Ridge at an elevation of 8800 feet. The canyon cuts through sandstone and limestone descending to the upper reaches of Lake Powell at an elevation of 3700 feet.

Escalante State Park
Escalante State Park features colorful deposits of mineralized wood and dinosaur bones. Visitors will enjoy the petrified forest, water recreation on Wide Hollow Reservoir, and the small, but beautiful campground.

Duck Creek Village
Dixie National Forest
Wilderness recreation area set at 8400 foot elevation with scenic lakes and waterfalls. Great destination for ATV and snowmobile trails, camping, fishing, hiking, cross-country skiing, and mountain biking.
