The Crafts Council is a national body to promote the creation and appreciation of crafts in Britain.
Its goal is to make the UK the best place to make, see, collect and learn about contemporary craft.
Since 2006, the Crafts Council has presented all its major events, exhibitions, participation and learning opportunities and professional development workshops and seminars in partnership with a wide range of organisations across the UK. These include museums and galleries including the V&A;, higher education institutions, schools and colleges and other venues.
Its offices remain in Islington, but it no longer presents events there. You can find out more about the Crafts Council’s events, schemes and programmes on the website www.craftscouncil.org.uk.
