Where

The Hampstead house where Keats lived alongside the Brawne family, where he fell for Fanny, was nursed by her, and where sits the tree under which he is said to have written his Ode to a Nightingale.

The interior of the house has been fully restored thanks to a hefty lottery grant, and the venue now exists to celebrate not only the work of Keats, but poetry in general. The garden has been redesigned with a Regency aesthetic, with themed borders, Melancholy, Autumn and Nightingale, reflecting aspects of Keats’s poetry.
